About Vision 2020
The mission of Vision 2020, P.L.L.C. is to provide convenient high-quality eye care products and services to consumers in the Martinsburg, WV area.
Vision 2020, P.L.L.C. is a doctor-owned business. The consulting physician is Raju Kemidi O.D. who has been practicing in the area for many years.
Unfortunately, the number of locally owned independent vision care practices has been shrinking as corporate chains proliferate. Often, when large corporate owned chains dominate a local market, quality, accessibility and affordability can suffer. Patients in need of more medically advanced eyecare, customers seeking more personalized service, and consumers looking for better value eyewear are left with fewer choices. This is the void that Vision 2020 hopes to fill.
Vision 2020 will began in early 2020 providing medically advanced eyecare along with a full range of optical offerings including a wide selection of name-brand and budget eyewear. The practice has received an enthusiastic response from local physicians who are seeking a place to refer patients in need of specialized eyecare and from customers looking for more affordable eyewear products. By opening in a conveniently located retail shopping complex, Vision 2020 is easily accessible.
As customers discover the Vision 2020 difference, we hope to open additional locations that are staffed with exceptional doctors who are committed to returning eyecare to its patient-focused roots. About the Doctors
Dr. Nagaraju Kemidi developed an early interest in healthcare which led him to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Optometry from the Bausch & Lomb School of Optometry, Brien Holden Institute of Optometry and Vision Sciences, Hyderabad, India. After receiving his B.S., Dr Kemidi worked at the world-renowned LV Prasad Eye Institute, Hyderabad, India (a tertiary eye care center recognized by the World Health Organization).
Upon relocating to the United States, Dr. Kemidi earned his Doctor of Optometry degree from the New England College of Optometry, Boston, MA with Honors. He successfully completed his clinical rotations from the New England Eye Institute, Dimock Community Health Center, Roxbury, MA and the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in Miami, FL.
After graduation, Dr Kemidi spent 10 years delivering eye care services through a local retail optical chain in the Martinsburg WV area.
Dr Kemidi is passionate about his work and caring for his patients. Although medical optometry is his primary focus, he is very thorough in prescribing his patients the most appropriate eyewear. Dr. Kemidi enjoys the challenge of complex clinical cases such as Keratoconus using Rigid Gas permeable, Rose K, Synergyes (Hybrid contacts) contact lenses, and is also proficient in managing various anterior segment eye diseases including glaucoma. Dr. Kemidi, his wife, and two young children are thrilled to have made the Martinsburg, WV area their home.
Dr. Kemidi is an active member of the WV Association of Optometric Physicians and the American Optometric Association (AOA). Dr. Kemidi is proud to be a board-certified optometrist from ABO (American Board of Optometry).

Stan Bowser, OD Optometrist
Dr. Stan Bowser is our newest OD in the practice. He graduated from Juniata College with his bachelor of science in 1984, and went on to graduate from The Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 1988.
In his free time, Dr. Bowser enjoys being outdoors, and especially riding his horses.
